Dr. Julie Bracey

Dr. Julie Bracey grew up in Gallatin TN with horses, dogs, and cats. She always knew she wanted to work with animals when she grew up.  She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Middle Tennessee State University and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Tennessee. 

Upon graduation, she worked in Ohio for a year but did not like the cold, so she moved back to Middle Tennessee. She worked at Banfield Pet Hospital for several years before joining the night crew at Animal Medical Center in Murfreesboro TN as an emergency veterinarian. She has been at AMC for 12 years and is excited to join Orchard Park Animal Hospital to help start their weekend urgent care.

Dr. Bracey lives in Murfreesboro TN with her husband, Chris, 2 rabbits, 3 dogs, 5 cats, 20 ducks, too many chickens to count, and woefully neglected tank of freshwater fish. In her spare time, she loves to read and work with her husband in their urban garden, Unruly Farms.
