Dr. Anna Tipton

Dr. Tipton is from Dickson, TN where she grew up on a large farm surrounded by many animals, including pigs, goats, cattle, pigeons, and guinea pigs. This fostered her appreciation of animals as well as for their overall health and wellness at very early age leading her to graduate from Middle Tennessee State University in 2010 with her two BS in Biology/Physiology and Animal Sciences. Afterwards, she then attended the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2013. After graduating, she then moved to Murfreesboro to work at Animal Medial Center as an emergency veterinarian for over 10 years before deciding to join the team at Orchard Park.

She met her partner, Tom, between shared chemistry classes while at MTSU. They bonded together over their love of video games, wine with cheese, and traveling with friends. Along the way, they have picked up many strays and have a house full of dogs and cats, with many large fish tanks to maintain! Her hobbies include reading, gardening, playing around with fish tanks, and attempting to convince Tom that there is always room for another stray.
