Recognizing Dog & Cat Emergencies
Please contact our hospital immediately if your pet is showing any of the following signs:
- Difficulty breathing
- Choking
- Heavy bleeding
- Blunt force trauma (hit by a car, fell from height)
- Possible broken bones
- Difficulty standing or walking
- Appears disoriented, head tilted
- Rapid or irregular heartbeat
- Foaming at the mouth
- Bleeding from nose and/or mouth
- Blood in stool
- Vomiting
- Loss of consciousness
- Unusually high temperature
- Seizures
