Emma was born and raised in Tennessee. I have worked in veterinary medicine for 37 years, 29 years at Caudle Vet Clinic in Nashville and the past 8 at Hoof and Paw Animal Clinic. I’m married and have two children and two grandchildren. I cannot imagine any other job that is as fulfilling as helping people take care of their four legged best friends.

I am Jen….better known as the “NEJ”. I have been working as a veterinary assistant for 8 years, 33 years if you count my childhood. It is an ever changing job bringing new challenges and rewards daily. I enjoy working with pets and their families helping them through the fun and difficult times. There is no other job that I could imagine doing.

I have a four-legged daughter “Anna” and all of my spare time is spent with my twin niece and nephew. Family is the most important thing in life be it two-legged or four-legged and I always carry this philosophy in my job.

Joyce has two daughters and two granddaughters. I’ve worked as office manager of Hoof and Paw Animal Clinic for eight years. My daughter, Dr. Dana, introduced me to veterinary medicine when she was only “three years old.” My experiences over the past eight years have made all of the “hardships” of the child with the long college life worth it.

I have worked at Hoof and Paw Animal Clinic for 8 years and have been working in this profession since 1990. I have a son and daughter who keep me busy and often drive me crazy. My husband and I have been together for 16 years. We have a dog named “Madam Huzzy”, five misfit cats “Kung Fu, Kabuki, Xena, Dora, and Junior”, one naked rat “Wrinkles” and a fish named Fish. I have raised a variety of woodland creatures and birds over the years. As you can see my love for animals is unending. My other passion is cooking and my coworkers appreciate me mostly for chocolate chip cheesecake and brownies. If ever a pet in need I am there… just ask the folks at Chick-Fil-A.

Jennifer “Stevie”

My name is Jennifer but around here they call me Stevie. I have been working at Orchard Park since it opened in 2007. I love animals so this the perfect job for me. I was raised on a horse farm so my love for animals started early. I am married and living in Springfield. I enjoy getting to the lake every chance I can get.

I have been taking my pets to Hoof and Paw for as long as I can remember and every visit there had made me want to become a veterinarian. I’m a lover of all animals except snakes and lizards! I’m a junior at East Robertson High School and am a member of the golf team. I have taken this job because I love to help animals and also love to play with them.

Cathy (Pet Stylist)

Hello, my name is Cathy and I’m the pet stylist here at Orchard Park Animal Hospital. I graduated from Nash Academy of Animal Arts, a grooming school, in 1981. I was taught by instructors who have competed and placed in grooming competitions both nationally and internationally. Through the years I have kept up with the changing styles, techniques and equipment through grooming clinic, competitions, and trade shows. I have continued my education by choosing to test to become certified with the National Dog Groomers Association and by periodically returning to Nash Academy to fine tune my skills and learn new ones. I love what I do. I pay close attention to details that you may not notice individually but put together as a whole give your pet that extra special look.
On a personal note, I have been an animal lover since day one, always bringing something home. I once pretended that my neighbor was my grandfather to get a kitten from the local pet shop, (Mom loved that one!) And as a teenager, hid two kittens in my room for two weeks. At 15 years-old I started working at a pet shop and it got worse from then on.
I am now married to a wonderful, patient man and we have 3 sons, 4 dogs, 5 cats and 1 three foot iguana.
On the job I only groom a few pets daily to create a relaxed atmosphere for all of us. I love to get to know your pets and for them to get to know and trust me. I want your pets to enjoy coming to Orchard Park for their baths and sprucing up. Hope to see you soon!

Susie Hello everyone, I’m Susie. Originally from Indianapolis, I love calling Tennessee home. I am really excited to be a member of the OPAH family. I am privileged to be working with such great clients and a caring and competent staff. I have been working in veterinary medicine for fifteen years. Animals are my life…my husband and I have five dogs, three horses and one cat. We are honored to share our home with them. I truly believe that all animals are God’s special gifts to us and we must provide a quality of life for them. I enjoy spending time with my husband, wildlife watching, photography, and horseback riding.

I was born and raised in Hendersonville. As a kid I always loved being around animals. Whenever anyone would ask me “What do you want to do when you grow up?” my answer would always say “a veterinarian”. I may not have become a vet but I still love working with animals. It truly has been a life long dream. My husband, daughter and I live in Cottontown, TN. Our daughter’s name is Cailin and she is 4 years old. She’s turning out to be just like mommy.

My name is Glenda Campbell and I’ve been involved with animals all my life. My husband and I have four children and one granddaughter who are all animal lovers. I have been extremely active in animal rescue since 2002, primarily rescuing Labrador Retrievers. I have been known to take in other breeds of dogs and even a few as cats. We even rescued a pot bellied pig name Rosalie. I have been a client at OPAH since 1998 but I’ve been the kennel manager since November 2009 and couldn’t ask for a more rewarding career.

Jennifer “Timmy”

My name is Jennifer Timmons. Around here they call me Timmy. I am the newest pet stylist at OPAH. I have been grooming for many years. I was trained and certified through the PetsMart Pet Stylist Academy in Atlanta Georgia. I moved to the White House area in March 2009, and it’s a wonderful place to call home. I married my amazing husband, Ricky, in 2006. In 2008 we had our first son, Jehu. He is an amazing little boy, and has definitely inherited his Mommy’s love for animals. He is obsessed with anything furry, and his first word was “dog”. I’m recently a new mom of two standard poodles, Huck, and Finn. They are added to my 5 year old golden, Ruby, and 3 year old dachshund, Ginger. I have loved animals for my entire life. I always wanted to have a career that involved animals. A good friend introduced me to grooming, and I never looked back. I absolutely love grooming. I’m one of the lucky few that can say that I have achieved my dream career. I’m very excited about the opportunity to groom at OPAH, and I’m truly looking forward to meeting all of you and your pets.
